"SHOOT, MOVE, & SURVIVE"

An advanced, integrated firearms and defensive decision-making program developed by Taigun Taijutsu in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Grounded in practical tactical movement, deep situational awareness, eliminating the threat, and the core priority of survival.

Course curriculum

This is not a competition shooting course or an aggressive tactical workshop. We guide responsible adult students through three core training pillars designed to prevent conflict, make sound decisions under stress, and protect life when violence cannot be avoided.

Awareness and prevention

Learn early threat recognition, environmental scanning, verbal de-escalation, and tactical disengagement to avoid violent encounters entirely. understanding when a threat escalates and what your response should be. knowing the federal and state laws on SELF-DEFENSE.

Handling and movement

Develop safe weapons handling, fundamental marksmanship, tactical engagements, unique firing postures, clearing malfunctions, and dynamic movement to safer cover while being engaged by a threat.

Trauma and survival

Gain vital self-trauma-aid skills, insuring that you are safe to provide first aid to others or oneself, emergency communication protocols, 911 dispatch interactions, and safe engagement procedures with first responders.

A martial arts approach to defensive firearms engagements

Traditional shooting courses isolate weapon manipulation on a static range line. At Taigun Taijutsu, our training integrates empty-hand defensive movement, natural body mechanics, understanding when your life or others lives are in danger, Knowing what a force multiplier is, and sound judgment so you understand and embody tactical lethality for yours and others survivability.

Lastly, knowing when a threat is no longer a danger!
